Another music thread...

Would someone who owns Now 76 be able to quickly get their copy, and tell me if the printing on the CD is slightly raised and has a different texture to that of the rest of the CD....

...Suspect counterfeit from eBay, It's quality is awful compared to that of every other "Now" that I own. Sent an email to the seller querying it and requesting a refund.

Funny how if you look at their feedback, its all for Now 76's which were all..."Unwanted gifts"

Can't help you there mate. As I usually have all the tracks that are on the Now albums anyway.

However if you've bought the album from an on-line Bona fida supplier. Then I think it's disgusting they've sold you a Mickey Mouse cd.

Hope you get that sorted quickly mate

I've just had a look at mine, doesn't seem to be "raised" as you described it, but funnily enough when I first bought it I thought the quality was a bit iffy, and I bought it from HMV!!

Hmm, next question then - All of my Now's open the same way....except this one

You can also see the unperforated cover insert on the bottom photo.

No reply yet from the seller (surprise, surprise)

I'm more annoyed that I spent £9 on the damn thing!

You'll be reporting them to ebay I take it - and aren't you covered if you paid by paypal?

Yeah i've already raised a complaint, and I can only hope that I get my money back!

That's twice this week i've had bad experiences on eBay, 3x CD's didn't show up, and now i'm buying counterfeit goods - what next?! lol

Edit: The 3 CD's were from the same seller that went missing

I have always found eBay to be very helpful and I would expect them to get on top of this quickly if this is a fraud case as it will not do their name any good if it gets to the papers that they sold copies of cd's on the site.

Seen as it hasnt been asked yet...what colour is the underside of the CD? Not a 100% cert for showing a CDR but usually a good indication ;)

Not silver! - That's what first raised my suspicions about it, it's got that slight green tint to it that CD-R's have.

It's been raised to eBay, so i'll just have to await their response

Have a look at the playing side of the disc there should be a series of numbers/letters or a combination of both around the centre hole usually printed in white,CDR's don't have these,if you look at any of your proper Cd's you will see what i mean, hopr this helps :)
