Not one for speaker porn, but encountered some last night that produced an amazing, rich and full sound. A guy was doing a video disco and karaoke in one of the local pubs, so me and a fellow DJ went to have a look. Notwithstanding the fact that the rig he used was way to big for the venue (I counted 6 speakers, a few nice lights arranged in such a way as to give the worst possible effect, and a whacking great big light screen), the sound was amazing. I've Googled them, but can't find any current information on RAMSA speakers. I suspect the may have been a few years old. Any thoughts?

They are the professional wing of Panasonic. I haven't heard any for a while but there was a chap who was a salesman in the local Sound Control music store a few years ago that was the lead of a Bryan Adams tribute and he was an audio nut and brilliant musician and had a fabulous Ramsa system.

Often when I went into the store he would be jamming on a keyboard or guitar and I used to listen to him and then he started to tell me where his band were playing and I went to see them several times. They were all excellent musicians and that Ramsa system was amazing in all sized venues.

Yup- most likely a good few years old and were pretty rare even back then.
Really liked them whenever I came across them.
