iTunes and DRM

I have been reading on the net that you can now buy music from iTunes without the DRM protection. iTunes plus enables you to do this for an extra charge.

Some sites say that all music can be DRM free but when I try and use it, it only gives me a handful of records that can be upgraded.

Does anyone know anymore about this?

Was just about to post something on this. as i just found out i could use itunes downloads in my playout software now!!!
