Gobo Size 44mm Outer Dia. / 32mm Image Dia
Can anyone help me?

Trust me tom, those units are huge and heavy
Even though they look small on the picture they are BIG.
I had a few when I lived in spain a few years back, and they are a pain in the a**e due to the weight.
Inside it's just fresh air.
As regards the gobos, I'd go with AJay's suggestion, as I use them all the time.
Just as a note, the gobo, that the unit uses is a none standard one.

I know what you are saying but I am only going to be using it for one gig in July so I don't want to go all out and buy a top of the range gobo projector just for one gig.

I have just seen the price of a American DJ Gobo Projector 10 Watt LED and I was thinking the price was going to be more than £99.
I am thinking I might spend the extra £40 - £50 and get a better quality one with a LED for a little extra more money and hopefully be able to get some use out of it.

Yes, that is more money + it looks twice the size of the Soundlab unit and probably weights twice as much.
I am looking for something quite compact but bright.

hi tom,
I have used the Acme gobo projector before and it is really good and about the same size as an NJD Datamoon, so not too big.
We were also going to get one for the school to project the school crest for plays etc.
but a gobo for the school crest was going to cost a bomb!!
