A respected musician in Nottingham. My mum's boyfriend has played with him.

He got married on the 23rd December 2010.

His wife thought he was going to make a full recovery on the 5th January 2011 and also said he was getting a lot better on the 20th January 2011.

He died on the 21st January 2011. Cancer.

His son is a year older than me.

Love and respect to the family.

It's sad.

Spoke to Dad on the phone and he told me a tale...

'The first day I went to 'big school' a guy walked up to me. I sniggered because he didn't have any teeth. He knocked me out and I had to go home. They next day, Roy came up to me and said 'If I look after you will you help me with my maths (Dad is great at Maths).

Dad wasn't bulled again and he helped Roy through his Maths exams.'
