Does anyone know if you can select your own channels manually on these mics or does the system scan and do it for you?

From memory, if you've got a newer model, you pick a channel on one unit (can't remember which without looking) remove the cover on the transmitter, and point it at the base. They then sync up. Sorry I can't tell you more, I've never done it. You'd have to be a little bit careful it didn't sync up with another unit, if there was one close. I guess you're trying to shift something away from someone else's frequency. :confused:

I know it scans automatically to find a spare frequency, but I was just wondering if you could do it manually.

I haven't bought it as yet, but am needing one with different frequencies as I am using the LD Wats a lot more and that is on a similar frequency to my current mic.

Once I have got the newer model, I will have this mic for sale....;)

button inside battery cover pick a number,button on front of reciever pick same number

think it said in the manual what frequency each number represents

not like the senny where you can tune to the frequency you want.

Pick a channel by pressing the channel select button on the receiver , keep pressing the button 'til the desired channel number is displayed on the LED display.
Then , unscrew the battery cover on the transmitter - and sync the transmitter to the receiver.
Easy peasy...

look at the manual on the web, I have one and know that can set it manually. i think you need to hold the channel button for about 5 seconds after which you can manually set. once set the transmitter is set in the normal way by IR
