Another playout flightcase 'not quite right'

Is anyone really happy with their console. Not the actual equipment but more the case used. I 'buy the perfect case' every month only to decide its not quite right and move back to an earlier case. :(

My last effort was purchase from Shain (flatliners) and I have not even paid him yet and have decided its not quite right (don't worry Shaun you'll still get paid for it :) )

So is anyone else like me or am I abnormal ??

I decide to use dedicated cases - DJ, Karaoke, Race Night etc, then decide on one fits all, then decide to carry backup in the console, then decide I would like a different arrangement..........................then change my mind completely, you get my drift ?? :D :D :D :D

The main problem comes that whilst I want all this, I also want a case that is light and manageable :o

While you may indeed be abnormal in many respects, in this one I'd say you were absolutely typical.

With you there, I don't like mine as such, well i do but I don't. I like it better than the last two I used but I now want to design a different one that hasn't got the central sliding laptop stand - But I'm umming and rrring as I'm not sure whether to get one made with the current kit or wait until i've bought a new controller - Or do I get two made, one for each, or is that just being greedy? :confused: :confused: :confused:

It took me a while to find the right case that i wanted !! in the end i went with the Cobra DJ Case which has a 3U-8U-2U plus 2U blanking plate which i removed and replaced with a 1U blanking plate, so i could fit in my Madboy karaoke 1U player :)

I went with the Mk7 Beta version Fisher Services case. Immediately after I'd built it, the goalposts moved. :bang:

I'm after a 2U smaller where the actual Dual CD's sit, would save a lot of room in the car and hide a lot better on the deckstand.

get swan flight to make you one,and use astro board instead of the normal hex board,makes the case much much lighter to start with.

after having the opportunity to view and lift a astro board case with similar equipment in ,it was half the weight.

I've just bought an 8U case for the MC6000 only to find that it's not big enough to fit in a 1U media player.
