After, for example 'Saturday Night', 'Time Warp' or 'Macarena' - what's your usual plan of action?

I ask this cos my wife thinks three in a row of this sort of dance is too many for the audience.

I tend to choose a predictable, safe party favourite singalong - along the lines of Hey Baby, Build me Up Buttercup but wondered if theres another more subtle exit strategy you use.

Play something good to get people back up :D

Seriously though, anything around the same era that isn't quite as cheesy, so for example Ricky Martin with Macarena, Wham or Footloose with Timewarp, Saturday Night you can actually mix out into any 90s dance classic, if you have the right crowd.

If it's a younger crowd some Top 40 hits, if mainly an older crowd a few 80's classics.

Great post.

Even two back to back is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much.

i tend to go for a funky one after this - play that funky music, supersition, car wash, mylo pressure etc - there a little slower and most people just swing their hips so they stay on the floor ( intro has to massive and recognised in 2 seconds)
