Help identifying tracks and effects

What is the second track at around 3:00?

And how does he get the effect which starts at around 6:58 and runs over the start of the Katy B track??

The mix makes some heavy use of effects in the transitions (as well as his little "Student Traffic" jingle to cover them - something I'd love to be able to do smoothly.

But how??

They have scanners and such in place to help detect copyrighted tracks etc....

I'm pretty sure its against forum rules to link to such things as this but I'm gonna go for a check now before I go editting or deleting anything.
