Following on from this thread http://www.forum.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/showthread.php?t=31653&highlight=email

about this Wednesdays Corporate gig now only being turn up with your playout. I've now received the running order for the entertainment on the night.

Here it is:

Hi Paul,

The set times have changed slightly – see below – is this still ok with you?

Band 22:30 – 23:30

DJ 23:30 – 00:30

Band 00:30 – 01:30

DJ 01:30 – 02:00

Also, the entertainer holding area is now the Morgan Room.

Kind regards,

Turns out now to be a massive 1hr 30 and I have a "holding " area

No doubt they'll be a full report on this one Thursday :D :D :D

Sounds like a perfect gig!

Only downside to events like that with a band is when the band play all your normal floorfillers.... you end up scratching your head for an hour and a half trying to think what to play!!!!:D

Indeed, make sure you contact the band & get a copy of their set list

Don't really have that issue myself I have to say but have worked with bands that take over when you get some flow going and when you come back on you have to start again.

Sounds like its going to be a good gig Paul, taking a camera?

Already done, waiting on call back. Although saying that we've all got to be set up and sound checked by 7pm so I'll have plenty of time to chat to them in the "Holding" room about set lists.

Definite camera night as I'm also intrigued to know what the PA set up will be.

Shame they can't knock off that troublesome half hour at the end for you :D :D
