Has dropped off dramatically this week.

Did you not notice what day it was yesterday? (and for that matter Sunday and Saturday, and for some, next Saturday and Sunday too)?

It's wedding fayre season. Discos are at the end of the shopping list. It'll be fairly quiet for a while compared to average :(

Yeah good point - that did cross my mind then vanished again. You forget the non married still make a big fuss of Valentines. Us married with kids still do a card and little present and a meal for two in though.

Or in my case, we do the shopping at Asda, followed by a 90min conference call for work and then go to bed :(

Its got even quieter on enquiries front. Day job has seen a massive fall off in confidence too. Its going to be a long year again.

Same here Neil.. Getting about 1 a week now.. and I am page 1 for MOBILE DISCO :) wedding dj blackpool, mobile dj blackpool, mobile disco bolton etc etc and most derivatives of for all areas around us that gets any search volume.

and still nothing.. getting 10-20 hits on my website a day.. Bounce rate has gone to 25% on most days.. So not sure quite whats happening..

I still think some of mine is down to not having photos and video's of me on it.

The only thing I can find you for is a place page.. When I search Wedding DJ Preston.. You might be listed for more.. but I have not noticed..

My SEO guy thinks that I am missing some because I dont have an answer machine and people dont like calling mobiles.. So gonna invest in one of them. But i think www.mobilediscopreston.co.uk and www.mobile-disco-preston.co.uk must be getting all the work.. <£150 jocks.

I have a review coming up, but the site is not placing well at present for whatever reason.

Google report each month and last month my website had nearly 800 visits, many just 1 page. This week I have taken 3 bookings out of 11 enquiries that came from the conect box on my site. This evening I have had 4 enquiries, 1 from my site for a gig in E.London that I cannot do and 3 telephone enquiries. 1 called with the number from a contract 5 years ago and is calling me back when she has confirmation of times at the hall and the other 2 said 'May call back' so you know what I expect.
Some good weeks some bad but overall so far this year it is not as good as last year.
Good pics on website definately work as so many clients have mentioned these in their enquiries.
Having a son who looks after my website helps too.

He's had 2 confirmed weddings off me so far. A few others were put to him but he was already taken. :)

Ben's doing a job for me in May too.

It's not an overnight job and will take time. :beer1:

Sorry to hear that Tony--although its difficult to make comparisons with a long time ago--unless your getting zero enquiries and bookings of course:eek:

Everything here seems about the same as last year--expecting things to improve a lot as they did last year after April when the sun comes out and people start planning for the Summer.

Unlike the general DJ market we dont get the big surge at Xmas.:(

Its weird for us, we are now not getting hardly any 'general discos. 30th's, 40th's, 18th's etc and the Friday and Sunday weddings are down.

Saturday weddings are about the same as last year (even with a £70 price increase).

Luckily for us everything else that we do is really busy and so with discos being quiet it isn't a massive problem, especially as I'm not DJ'ing any more.

It is nice to have weekends off :)

Since I've turned the 'Budget' option off on the NeedaDisco website I've had nothing  Saved me a pointless exercise in replying I suppose!

Getting 1-2 a day via email and now calls are increasing in volume.

This doesnt include other sources either. Been very proactive however recently which I put this down to :)

Why? How much do you charge Tom?

Why can't you just be yourself? Don't post what you think people NEED/WANT to hear? For example (sorry to bring this up again) - If you haven't bothered to buy the bedsheet (I don't think you have) - big deal. It's your problem. Just be honest.

You don't charge much more than that so why bother making it sound like you do?

I don't understand why people can't be honest.
