Hi,

Recently got 2 Invinicbled's.

But 1 was faulty so I'm posting back for a replacement (I'll then pass the charge onto the supplier).

Anyone know anyone cheaper then royal mail (Around £9) for 5KG item.

Thanks.

Have you checked the supplier will pay it?

They have to, under the DSR's it's a legal requirement as the item is faulty and was reported on the day of arrivial.

1. DSR is consumer legislation - it doesn't apply to B2B transactions;

2. The supplier is liable for arranging collection and the consumer is responsible for making sure it is available for collection at an agreed time & place;

1. Business to Business

2. Then tell them to collect it and wait for their response. If you incur costs in returning they are within their rights to a) refuse to take delivery and b) refuse pay your costs unless you have an agreement with them that this is the course of action you will take.

3. No worries. The Interparcel "Standard" service is provided by UPS and they're excellent.

1. At work we've been told the client is well within their right for a P&P refund if the item is damaged/faulty :confused:

2. Their returns states: "Should a product fail within the first 7 DAYS, we will pay for a courier to collect & return the unit to us".

If they've stated that, that's fine!! :)

I'm guessing though it will be at there disscretion NOT when you want them to.

IE: They will pay and sort the pickup out NOT you.

I've already been told a replacement to be sent to me is fine, as there collection term states, it's a day we can agree on, which shouldn't be an issue, Friday or Saturday is fine, plenty of notice for the courier.

Also I told them the issue on the same day of arrival, so if they don't collect within the 7 days that's down to them and out of my hands so I'm still within in my rights of the free replacement and collection/return.

Just had a minute so checked
http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf

The DSRs do NOT apply to transactions between two businesses. See section 2.11.

Tread carefully.
