which way do you guys and gals fit you starcloths or black sheets arund the dj stand. my sheet has no ties etc on it, so i was wondering is it worth getting ties sewn onto it

If its just plain black cloth why not use good old velcro mate strong, reliable and easy to use ;)
If its a starcloth then maybe have a look into the seam and see if there is enough space to put some curtain/net wire through and try that way.

On the corners of the sheet I use, it has elastic inside it, so they wrap around the stand ends nicely :)

I have always used a sheet of MDF covered on the front of my deckstands. No creases on your material and acts as a good barrier from sliding kids etc.

I have always used a sheet of MDF covered on the front of my deckstands. No creases on your material and acts as a good barrier from sliding kids etc.
I also use a MDF board with the starcloth stappled and glued to the board make my stand look more like a booth

See here - for details on how I mount mine - note that I've got a star cloth with a hem on the top which takes a pole, which makes this possible, but I'd imagine that would be easier/stronger than adding ties to a sheet of cloth?
