Amazingly, my hands started to perspire near the end. I'm not scared of heights, but the bit where he climbed off the ladder at the top was terrifying

Awesome. definately something i would give a shot...although from that height i would be tempted to grab a parachute and do a bit of base jumping for a quick descent :)

Is it the camera lens or can you actually see the curvature of the earth?
I bet they name their price in that job too.

I'd love to do that.:D :D

It's an optical illusion, you need to be at 40,00 - 50,000 before the daylight sky starts to darken and there's a perceptable curve to the horizon.

This video was shot with a GoPro helmet cam which has a 170 degree field of view, that's what causes the illusion of the curvature.
The thing that you can't see from the video is that the towers MOVE all the time, they sway even in a slight breeze
Apparently these guys (the ones who go highest) get paid around $300 per hour, that's not :Censored: enough.

I'd make a fortune then - I'd be stuck up there for days! I froze rock climbing once, it's an awful feeling.

Imagine getting all the way to the top, realising you have left a tool behind and then having to go all the way back down to get it
