Now that I am using the netbook as back up, I thought I'd get another soundcard and chuck it in the case, but actually, as it is a back up, I'm not sure I really need it!

Would it work with VDJ though and could I configure it to use 2 x channels?

There is a bit on the VDJ forums.

Still investigating :D

This is for the soundblaster live , but I think the same applies.

I have a Maya EX USB Soundcard (http://www.audiotrak.net/products/mayaex/) knocking around somewhere that may well do the job, although I have no idea if it is compatible with VDJ or an OS above Windows XP.

You can test it first if you want.

Darren, at the minute I am using a Gigaport AG external soundcard:

http://www.esi-audio.com/products/gigaportag/

It is pretty much the same as the Maya 44 except the Gigaport is all outputs and no inputs. If you just want to go from VDJ to mixer, then it's perfect.

The only reason I am after a Maya 44, is I need the Inputs as well, so I can use CDJ's with Timecode CD's. So, once I get the Maya 44, this will be for sale.

I know this works as I have one here that I use with the Mixtrack to mess around mixing etc. How much do you want for it?

Er..no. :(

Stick it in the post - shouldn't be any more than a couple of quid.

Let me know the cost and I'll do a BACS payment?
