View Full Version : Out of Office :(
Hi guys and girls,
Thought I would let you guys know that I will be out of the office for a few days....
On Sunday night my father suffered a double heart attack and was admitted to hospital. He's currently under going a shed load of tests to determine exactly how large and what damage was done.
He's not a well bunny :(
Anyway... Just wanted to let you all know that I will be offline for a few days so if I don't reply to people straight away please don't be offended or get annoyed! Chances are... I'm at the hospital with my dad.
If you have a major problem/breakdown with your hosting accounts...you can still raise a forum/support ticket ... but best thing would be to call me directly on 07525 645750.
xx

^ What they all said ^
Try not to worry too much, at the end of the day it doesn't affect anything & it doesn't do you any good.

Whilst I agree with this comment it really is so much easier to say than do. All part of being human I suppose.

I did say "try", I didn't say it would be easy.
Well we had fantastic news today!
Dads had a "stent" put in... and should be home later today all being well.
He's got to go on a shed load of meds for a while but apparently thats normal... he's been told he can't drive for 3 months though LOL LOL
Which means he has to put his life in Mums or my hands with regards to driving anywhere! Ohhh dear!
Doc's have said he has to quit smoking... NOW!... he has also got to change his diet but thankfully not by much! He's quite healthy with regards to eating... so he just has to cut out the peanuts and rubbish!! LOL
So glad to have my dad back and well !! Was having bad dreams last night about it all... it was horrible!
Life should get back to normality soon once he's home :D
A massive thank you to you all for the kinds words! I showed him the forum thread and he was touched that so many people were thinking of him, sending their thoughts and prayers.
I have to admit, this puts a lot of things into perspective. I died twice on the operating table a few years back and THAT makes you appreciate life.. but to see a seemingly fit and healthy man suddenly have a heart attack it scares the hell out of you... and makes you look at your own life again!
Put it this way... last time I died and was revived, I decided to start living life how I wanted... hence setting up a mobile disco and being self employed.... this time thanks to almost losing my dad,my diet and stuff will be changing so I don't end up with a sudden mysterious heart attack!
I've already agreed with mum and dad that together we will ALL quit smoking... so as of today I am a NOT a smoker! My diet needs work.... so I'm going to gradually cut out cola ( I drink 4 to 6 litres a day ).. and eat better! LOL
Tough few weeks ahead... so if I get grumpy... don't worry it's not intentional and not aimed at anyone! It's just me breaking a few addictions ;)

I drink about the same daily. My teeth are almost worn/disoved away. The dentist has told me the enamel on my teeth is non-existent.
The end is nigh. RIP Teeth..lol. :(
Never mind, I'll soon be able to stick my false teeth in the dishwasher to clean them. Every cloud.... :d
Alex and me a few years from now.....

The guy in the back must be Charlie with a particularly heavy dose of fake tan!
Apologies for steering off-topic Alex, just trying to bring a smile to your face. :)
Orange at benidorm??? Whatever!!!!
I'm going to be 1Euro Beering it up! :)
I do brush my teeth around 3-4 times a day to remove the awful stuff so I've got fantastic teeth still :D
However yeah... My diet and stuff will change! I'm already getting grumpy because of the no smoking! Grrrrrrrr
