My Smartsound 10 inch Tops arrived on friday
Unfortunately the Carrier had bounced them about
somewhat and had managed to destroy all 8
grille fixings!

Despite Darylls best packing they had ripped the front grille fixings out and
split the wood on all 8
However after an hour with the wood glue and a pile of new screws they live again!!!!

I have to say Daryll a BIG thanks you for the Speakers
I ran them hard full range to try them and they have a sound much bigger than the little cabinets should be!

with the Eminence Gammas and Eminence horns im sure i,ll get good long service from these for small / med venues!!!
Just dont tell Wifey i mended them on a kitchen chair!!!!
I think despite being an odd design they look pretty good too!

I bet I can guess the carrier. My cabs came with all four tubes knocked out of the ports on one cab.:mad:

Horrendous that any gear should arrive in that condition. I'll bet the carriers are accepting no responsibility

Sorry , I had to delete my post , as I am now not sure it was DHL , I believe it was HDNL ( Home delivery network) , which also has a tardy reputation on some consumer forums.

If you use www.interparcel.com ever then choose "Interparcel Economy" as this service is supplied by UPS and I have used them for 3 years now without problems, Never never use HDNL

I use UPS now as they have bog lorries that need proper carriers.

Just got back from the club using the Smartsounds
Theyre Brilliant im most pleased
they sound fab and theyre now locked in the clubs electrical switching cupboard till next week!!!
Wife just pointing out she likes me to buy crap off ebay that get delivered by
ups cause they allways have nice legs n wear shorts even in the snow!!!???

I just sold some smart sound subs and had some tops.

For the price they are very good. Always use good drivers.

City Link like to do that with iPod Touches also. The are nice though... They leave the gift wrapping in the box! :Censored:
