I was wondering if anyone has any tips on repairing dents in the laminate board on flight cases? I have been thinking of using a little wood filler and painting it.
I don’t expect flawless results but I like to keep things neat, the case in question has only been used three times so I am gutted it now has a dent. :(

Woodfiller / Pollyfiller
Wait to dry
Sand down neatly
Paint appropriate colour
Will look good as new :)

Personally, fill and smooth the void the best you can, then cover with Fablon (you can get close matches in colour) ;)

Car body filler is the best option ,wood filler & polly filler will fall out if it is laminate key the area first (rough up with sandpaper).

All of the above will fall out in time, best stuff to use is shredded fiberglass resin in a tin(the stuff you use on cars)

Thanks for all your advice, I didn’t think about car body filler.
I think this would be the best option.
