What do you buy? Do most mobile DJs buy the radio edits that their audience will be familiar with or do you go with the dance mixes? I buy my music from iTunes and just download anything new in the top 20 weekly + any classics I don’t have. I buy about 10 tracks a week at the moment.

Looking at the DMC website for the first time and it does look a bit cheaper at £10 for 20 tracks, but I can’t see a price per track? Is there a site that you can join which automatically adds new entries to your library without charging you for duplicates?

I buy dance remixes if they are available and preferably the extended versions so i can beat mix them.

You can always buy the radio and extended and edit it live, use the extended for the mix in and chop into the radio edit.

Or you could use an editing programme like a lot of DJ's do.

depends on the mix really - gotta watch some dance mixes as they somtimes are nothing like the original - also depens on the venue - birthday party in a community centre then I would play radio edits - bar or club - you need to play the 12 " MIXES
