Interesting.

Looking forward to seeing how detailed a music library they will offer. Hopefully this service (and the immitations that are sure to follow) will drive down the cost of legal music purchases even further. It's a good day for the consumers.

Can't see it lasting much past the initial launch. It is a pyramid business model and does not look sustainable. You have to ask yourself, why hasn't Google done something like this, as I'm sure if it could make money, they would have. And they already have the 'advertising' structures firmly in place. 'Google Music' would be a powerfullbrand, which really confirms what I think.

i guess we will just have to wait and see what it does manage to do, if its good for us then hopefully it will last!!!

It would appear that it's only planned for USA & Canada at the moment anyhow..... but we'll see!
