Well folks last night was the first outing for the LEDJ Omni Tri9's. If you use LED pars then these are world beaters. Very Very bright and don't look half as ugly when up on the rig. They actually look nice with the diamond layout of the 9w LEDS. I ended up turning them down to about 65% most of the time they were that bright. It was a big room and we put a theme matching purple flood on the whole room with 4 fixtures. Amazing lights for the money. These are proper stage lighting. Even used them as a strobe during some tracks and they are very very good at that too.

Also light jockeys fist outing as nothing more than a dimmer pack for the LEDJ's, but worked very well indeed. Now to start programming the shows.

So my lighting rig is now. 2 Martin EFX500's, 4 Martin MX4's and the 4 LEDJ Omni Tri9's.

A lot of wiring up there, it takes some rigging with all that power and DMX cable floating about.

No pictures as my wife had run off with the camera! Will get some on the next outing.

Glad you liked them, I don't think they'd suit everyone, but they seem bang on for you. Well done.
I ran my Teutonic Powerbar on DMX for the first time last night, and all I can say is: Wow!!!!!!

As a piece of blanket advice to anyone, get the big LED fixtures, stick 'em on a controller, and you're away. ;)

I would agree.

In line with the thread knocking about on LED failure. You get what you pay for with them as everything. I will need to see the longivity on these, but one unit was as much as 3 and a half pulse LED par 56's, so they should be up to the job.
