Next weekend I've got three jobs on and I'm determined to have a blast, taking pleasure of watching folk enjoy themselves.

My main concern is the Saturday Wedding. First wedding of the year, with many more to come.

Somehow, I've lost a good 3,000 popular wedding tunes. Don't ask how - but they've gone walkies.

If anyone has 5 minutes to knock up a simple yet effective list (purely to jog my memory) of whats working well ATM, I would be most grateful.

Saturday is a big one with Dad and I installing 20 uplighters on large podiums, 10 around the room and another 6 in a 'chill out' room. Ben is bringing his 22ft starlit dancefloor too.

I'm sure I'll be fine and my 'mojo' will come back but just in case, a few suggestions would be grand! :beer1: :beer1:

This is what they have requested so far...(pretty rubbish IMO)

Billy Joel - Just the way you are (last dance......aaaggghh)
Moonlight Shadow
any 80's
I have a request from a friend for Bon Jovi.....get it in early hopefully no one will notice...
Dolly Parton - Jolene, 9 to 5, islands in the steam
Down under - Men at Work......I'm sure my future husband is gay...
Piano Man - Billy Joel
Everything - Michael Buble
the rest is up to you......

Thank you very much in advance guys. :)

Did Jovi Living on Prayer last night at a 21st. Awesome response as always (even did the cheesey turn it down on chorus and let crowd sing bit - they loved it)

Piano Man is a classic for early evening at a wedding - class choice.
Everything is a perfect first dance follower to get older relatives up and enjoying things and feeling part of it all.

9 to 5 is class and always works with the ladies.

Rest are a bit duff, but do what I do with playlists. Cherry pick and make sure they are around when you play them.

Chris Brown's "Yeah x3" is killing it for me in Yates. Not really had a young enough "mobile" crowd to try it on yet though.

"We Are Family?" :D

Also a more modern tip,
J-Lo. Ft. Pitbull - On The Floor
Jeremih Ft. 50 Cent - Down On Me
Lady GaGa - Born This Way
Rihanna Ft. Drake - What's My Name

I do worry when DJ's discuss clients wishes in this way in a public forum...
It doesn't look professional, and clients do look at DJ forums!

The customer is always right Charlie... ;)

Anyway, the last few Weddings soaked up Rihanna, Rod Stewart, Bruno Mars, J-Lo. Ft. Pitbull will be popular.
