I've just created a playlist of my favourite background music, namely:-

1. You must be a special lady - Ray, Goodman & Brown;
2. Brandy - O'Jays;
3. I'm out of your life - Arnie's Love;
4. You'll never know - Hi Gloss;
5. Rotation - Herb Albert
6. Fantasy - Earth, Wind & Fire;
7. Risin' to the top - Keni Burke;
8. Sun Goddess - Earth, Wind & Fire;
9. Expansions - Lonnie Liston Smith;
10. The Bottle - Gil Scott-Heron;
11. The sound of Philadelphia - MFSB;
12. Brazilian Love Affair - George Duke;

Any comments ? Or, indeed, what would you put on your own playlist.

Excellent list.

Not sure everyone will appreciate it though.

I'm out of your life-what a tune. What CD is that from - I've only got it on vinyl. :sad:

Nouvelle Vague - Bande a part / Nouvelle Vague
Paul Anka - Rock Swings
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra - Alternative Classical Chillout Album

Those 4 albums on rotation work pretty well for me

I bought that recently having heard young Darren give us some examples through his new sound system. A great purchase. :teeth:

But, if you were to put together your own playlist, what might it include ?

Oh yes .................... unless you got one of those very rare Rare Groove nights, one of which may be happening in October not too far from you. I'll get you all posted.

Ian: saw a poster on South Mimms roundabout and thought of you - they're doing Jazz Funk nights weekly in Hatfield now as well.

I simply use some of the Chillout albums - 70 minutes each disk of background pap and/or music to eat to.

But, if you were to put together your own playlist, what might it include ?What for? A party I would be hosting or a general one for work (weddings etc)?
