I am looking for a mixer that fits ALL the following criteria :

19" rack mountable by 2u height
4 line inputs with 4 separate channels, slide faders on each channel
2 mic inputs
Crossfader that is either selectable on which channel they control OR 2 separate faders
Talkover - the music automatically goes quiet when the mic is used - must work on all channels

Decent sound goes without saying and a budget of £350, preferably new (budget not set in stone). I am not a brand snob :p

Have been searching but can't find anything suitable. I have 2u mixers without the required functions and a mixer with the functions but too big. :(

This is not in the wanted section as not really a want at the moment, more of a search :)

Anyone ??

Sounds like the Denon X500 to me.

Actually, what do you mean by 2u height. Is that the mixer base to top plate or are you talking top plate depth?

Top plate depth.

Does the talkover on the x500 work on all 4 channels ??

x500 is a 4u top plate depth I'm afraid.

I have one, I've not got round to using it properly yet, but it doesn't seem too bad to me.

This one should be better, but with a heftier price tag. It may be Hobson's choice, since the previous one is showing is unavailable.

If it weren't for the crossfader, this would suit your needs -

Why do you need so many inputs ?
