No bet on the match, but my son ( him in the picture) has had a small bet on trump to win the world crown.

He has the game to go all the way, but i am not sure what he would be like if he got to the final and it was a close tense affair.

Gotta be worth a few quid then, if he can beat williams, he can beat anyone

Makes watching it a bit more exciting as well when you have a few quid on it '0)

the bbc link has now changed from when i started this thead about Trump beating Robertson.

Trump will play the winner of Gould v Fu.and i would think that he would beat either of those.

I still class him as the winner, as Higgins shouldn't be allowed to compete again.

yes he did play well and i think that if Trump had kept 3 or 4 frames in front he would have won, but in the end i was right about a close final because he just started to miss a few when it got close, but what amazing cue power Trump has, i have only ever seen a couple of pro players with the timing to get so much action on the cue ball, he pushes the cue through so fast to generate the backspin and topspin but does not move on the shot, which is normally the reason why people miss shots when doing this.
