Numark DJ IO

Hi guys.

I have a Numark DJ IO and recently started to go naff.

It was working perfectly but now, Windows doesn't see it and the little LED on the front, which is meant to be static - is flashing.

I have googled the problem yet cannot find anything.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? If its dead, its going back. Only had it 3 weeks!!!

It may be faulty ? or it could be a driver problem ?

Un-install any drivers for the unit, then download up to date ones from Numark.com and make sure you use the right type for your OS ie. 32bit or 64bit dependant on your OS specs ?

Also check if your USB ports on your PC/Laptop have up to date drivers and if they can cope with the power to the DJiO unit ? ... you may need to buy a power AC for the DJiO or a USB powered hub ?

I had a similar problem with a Vestax vci100. Windows wouldnt see the device or it would sometimes drop the driver out. Problem was solved by plugging it into the mains rather than USB powering it.

Try the same for your Numark.

Hi guys. Not managed to get on in a few days.

Still not managed to get the DJIO to work. Tried a USB Powered hub, different computer and tried using a 230v power adapter.

Just nothing it working.

I opened it up to burst capasitors etc and nothing obvious.

Hmmm..
