I am arranging a 24 hour fundraising event on july 9th 2011 in aid of H4H.

What i need is anyone in the vicinity of sussex that is in the entertainments business from magicians, kids entertainers, balloon makers, bouncey castles etc etc, who will donate from 1 hour to as many hours as they can. you will be supplied with H4H t-shirts to wear and will benefit from your business name being printed in the local rags. so far I have managed to get a disco to run for 24hrs. also needed is someone to build me a website FOC from now till the event to raise awareness of this and also ask as many of you as possible to put a link on your websites.
I have a lot of work to do so the more help i can get the better. please remember who the charity is for.

I will update this thread as I go

(24843811 TRP Hirsh hoping for all the help possible)

Good luck with this mate, I know it's a subject close to the hearts of many on here. I'm a little too far away to offer physical help, and a lot too dim to offer technical help, but I'll try to help where I can.

I think you can add your event to the H4H website, which should then give you a URL which you can then promote .....

http://events.helpforheroes.org.uk/register/event1.php

You can then promote your event through links to this on Facebook etc by creating a facebook event and gauge the number of attendees etc

EDIT : Just read the above. I think you have just done that.

I mooted a similar Idea to this last year on here. Albeit on a much larger scale

The costs involved were horrendous. Best of luck with it anyway mate:) :)
