Thought I'd do it properly.

Good luck to Wensleydale and his wife to be for their impending wedding on Saturday.

All the best - have a beer for me.

I hope it all goes well for you both. :rose:

But the wedding's on Saturday & as I will be having Big Beers on Saturday, it seemed an appropriate opportunity.

I hardly drink these days (other than water or cola)

just thought i'd give you an update and let you all know that contrary to popular belief, you can easily do the disco at your own wedding and keep everyone happy.
as planned 3 of us did half an hour "live" each, and i prerecorded the last hour.
everything worked a treat, until the graphic blew and the sound went off. 10 minutes of frantic rewiring and de-flight casing later (whilst everyone was singing the hymns from the service making it almost unnoticable that it had all gone wrong) and we were back up and running- didn't want to finish, but sadly we had to.
if anyone else is getting married, would really suggest that you do it yourself- its the only way you wont spend all night thinking "I could do this better".

not yet, although all the ones I have seen seem to miss out the disco- I was hoping i could stick a few on the web site- will look into it and post a few if we get any decent ones.

aah yes, everything else was perfect- lovely weather, we had an ice cream van which went down a treat, she turned up, then there was the disco, and the honeymoon was not bad either.
only downside is that I was supposed to be in bangkok at a conference last week on the way home, but because of the "coup" there it got moved.....to heathrow, a whole 30 mins from where i live.
can't have it all i suppose.
the giant mirror ball went down a treat though.....
