Looking at new options for daytime/small shows.

Has anyone ever used the Behringer Europort EPA300?
http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/EPA300.aspx

If so I'd welcome you're opinion on the sound quality/easy of setup etc.
Most likely used for background music and live shows - but welcome thoughts on use for small discos.

How does the quality compare to - say - something like a Fender Passport?
Have also looked at Yamaha stagepas, but the reverb & effects seem more limited for a start.

Appreciate any info/opinions.

Quite a nice little compact unit, but I wouldn't think of using one for anything more than background music, quiz/race nights.

The magician i have on my website uses one of these and tbh it wasn't to bad for small shows etc but as for small discos i wouldn't use it as it doesn't have alot of volume/sound output with out going tinny and sounding like a decent stereo on it compared to a pair of cheap actives.

For background music i would say they are ok but again nothing special, i feel these are more ideal for small shows ie: quiz nights, race events, magicians, etc etc as you have got to remeber they are a "Portable" system

I know that there are proberley some "Portable" systems that would put my rig to shame but then again they would proberley cost 10X more lol

Have a look at the 10 inch LD dave as well. Much better quality.
I use the 10 inch to open stores etc.
