If you're going to play a version of Green Onions other than Booker T & the MGs, I'd say it has to be Georgie Fame's version.

That minor nit pick aside, great set list.

Git! :p Mine tonight was booked as mainly Tamla and Northern. Fantastic. :D :D Latest alteration now has it listed as 80's and Chart. Whoopy doo. :( :( :( :( :( :(

And I'd just stick with Mr T. Jones anyway.

I will save this list as a word document.

I don't know hardly any of those tunes. :o

Don't sweat it Charlie. I'm only truly familiar with one in three of those. Without wishing to get at Martin in any way, that's not a truly "Mainstream " list ( excellent though the ones I recognise are )

Have a good 'un Martin.

I would have to pass on that.Just a quick look at the list and I might know/have 7 of them. The vast majority I have never heard of.

Looks like the client has given him free reign.

There are many are more mainstream tracks in the genres concerned that could be used.

Playing reggae with no John Holt tracks
John Holt is a firm favourite anytime of the year.

Great night, pretty much all the above list got played plus loads more Motown/Soul. Massive reaction to Baba Brooks -This Is Thunder. Last hour or so played dub.

Venue was a large barn type building (with a stage one end). Lighting was five Solar 250's with various effects (for the solar 250 fans - used some of the dynagraph wheels individually rather than doubling them up, very effective if you have the distance, and a gives a brighter image).
