Ive just noticed that i'll be working during the game, doing a mans 30th birthday.

Doubt anyone will turn up :mad:

Wonder whos bright idea it was to show the game on a Saturday night instead of in the afternoon.

I agree, and whoever made the decision to play the FA Cup Final yesterday too - poor show.

I agree, and whoever made the decision to play the FA Cup Final yesterday too - poor show.

The problem this year is because of the Champions League final. There has to be 14 days of non play.

I didn't realise that, I knew that was the reason but I didn't know there had to be 14 days beforehand, I thought it was a decision taken by the FA.

In that case, it's a bit more excusable, but they still could have arranged the league fixtures around - they knew about this before drawing up the fixtures.

Very true, what they should have done is to play the league games on sunday and the final on the saturday or vice versa

I totally agree. It was really strange having MOTD showing Premier League games on the same day. Took the shine off, especially as Man Utd won the title.
