Here's a little trivia game.
What's the connection between Roobarb and the Beatles?
Once it's been answered correctly anyone can set the next connections question.
Only rule is it should have some music relevance to avoid going completely of on a tangent.

That would be Bob Godfrey then :)
He did the animated Beatles series as well as Roobarb.

Bob Godfrey animated Roobarb and advised on Yellow Submarine too

Essar Oil refinery near Ellesmere Port was previously Stanlow Refinery. OMD's Organisation album includes a track about it - "Stanlow".

The connection between "Two hearts beat as one" & "Rock Lobster"?
Vectis
01-06-2011, 08:55 AM
Well there's an urban myth that lobsters have two hearts, but it's not true, so it couldn't be that...

Enola Gay was the B-52 "Bomber" which like "Two Hearts Beat As One" was first released in Japan ?;)
The latter was a little less devestating, but still part of U2's War Tour

So very close it's untrue, but not spot on
Corabar Steve
02-06-2011, 02:12 PM
I suppose it's close enough. "Two hearts beat as one" was recorded by U2, "Rock lobster" was recorded by the B52s.
Both songs were recorded by bands named after bombers.
