Anyone doing quizzes out there? I need your help.
Started doing quiz in hotel where I also have karaoke residency.
Went online and found company that supplies everything I needed (for a price)for the quiz. Questions ,answers, can add my own questions, print outs etc.Looks good.
Unfortunately, major flaws
1. no "save " as you take time to make up quiz. Result - Last week, lost 2 hours of work after I pressed google search buttom by mistake and no way back into my work.  Had to start all over again.
2. Just finished spending another couple of hours for this weeks quiz.
Only once I printed everything out ,did I find out that all of the questions I had put in myself had come up without the answers.(on preview facility,it only shows how the page will look with your question on it)
Again, once printed out, you cannot go back and sort it out.You only get access to print out more sheets.
I have paid for another two weeks (5 week package) but I am reluctant to pay for more with this particular company. Although, aspects of them are very good,I am not going through all this again.
So.... Online quiz company with all the good points as above but the ability to save my work as I`m going along and correct mistakes after printing.....
Anyone using one?
Thanks
Paul

Was looking for a bit more professional than that. But after looking at all the questions on there and tinkering with excel, I can make my own look as good as what I was paying for. It will still take me the same amount of time to prepare..... so thanks.
Only had a evening to prepare the first quiz and had never done one before, hence the reason to go with a paying site.
Spent most of the time changing there questions and researching my own, anyway.
Cut & Paste....greatest asset ever..:)

Used to do quiz nights and found endless supply of questions on the internet free of charge that you can make as professional as you need it.
I personally used to use 'Powerpoint' so that there was a visual input into the evening as well as me just reading the questions, cut down on the amount of, @Can you repeat question ....'
Picture round handouts are good as well, again endless supply for free on the net and most are already designed in pdf files.
Best of luck

Ok heres a couple of the ones I used to grab questions from;

http://www.businessballs.com/
http://www.funtrivia.com/en/
http://www.paulsquiz.com/free_quiz_questions/other_trivia_quizzes/Halloween_Quiz_1/

Hope these are of help, if I find any more of the old sites I used to use I will let you know. The last one is one I used purely for Halloween but I think if you look through the site you will find other stuff that will be useful
