Tonight, I'm taking all the staff on a river cruise along Nottingham's finest River Trent for my birthday which is next week. ;)

'Disco diva package' - BBQ, in house DJ and a free bar. :eek:

Then back to Dad's for a mini bash.

Tomorrow I've got a big wedding in a circus marquee at http://www.eastbridgfordhill.com/

All day wedding so it's a nice payer. :sj:

Tonight - corporate event for Britannia Movers International, being held in Cardiff. All the work's in the set up, working alongside 3rd party AV company who are proving the stage, backdrop and video screens. Hope we have enough time to get our lights & stands neat!

Tomorrow - client consult and prep for following weekend. Am debuting a bespoke first dance for next weekend's bride, so need to learn the song inside out, plus she's ask for some... less typical for a wedding... song requests to be sung too - these need to be rehearsed.
(I may even get to prep her disco songlist too - should I pre-mix the 4 hours of requests into the 90mins available when I'm not singing?!?!)

Sunday - Gutted to have to miss the Mastermix party but family stuff has to take priority, sometimes. Appartantly the kids missed me when I was gorging myself on Parmo* in Teesside last weekend.

Tonight -Off down to the new forest later this evening, stopping overnight

Saturday - First thing AM setting up a white LED dance floor & uplighters, then back to setup a local PA hire at 1pm, then load up the van again and DJ, Black LED floor and uplighters at one of my regular venues.

Sunday - Dance floor to collect from the new forest AM, so will only get a couple of hours sleep but persuaded my Dad to do some driving for me again so can sleep on the way down. Then the PA hire to collect locally, unload everything and have the evening off!

Got all my Black & White floor out on dry hire as well, oh and some pipe & base being coureied down to Kent!

Just had a Friday night for a local Rugby club in Tewkesbury, and a 60's/70's night at a local pub in Bishops Cleeve.

Nothing as yet this Friday, but a wedding at the Racecourse saturday which looks good.

Had a Friday night 30th where the bar was next door to the function room and 3 times as big as the function room so guess what..you got it most guests and the birthday guy were in the bar nearly all night.
Yesterday was a wedding early morning set up and back for 4.30 until midnight starting with background music for a BBQ that was excellent. Usual radio mic for speeches with speaker at the far end where they were seated in a long barn with lots of candles and small flame lights on the 5 chandeliers. Real nice guy and his Polish wife with lots of her relatives over from Poland, many of whom left early and stayed in the cottages at the property.
Next Thursday 2 hr kids party, Friday 5-12 wedding with kids entertainment and magic show before Saturday 5-12 wedding 90 minutes away.
