Saw them support Gary Numan a few months ago and I bought the album.

The band is called MIRRORS and the album is called 'Lights and Offerings'.
If you like 80's Synth Pop stuff like OMD with etchings of Kraftwerk etc....you may like this. Not really the stuff for mobile discos but I think it's great!

Deffo omd & kraftwerk, two of my favourite bands

Surprised no-one's drawn any comparisons with China Crisis yet

When I first fired this up I though "OMD - yeah, kinda - song structure; Kraftwerk - strong undertones of - repetitive backlines, odd sound effects; China Crisis - most definitely". It's all in the vocals :)

I like too :beer1:

If you like this then check out a band called Villa Nah :beer1: :beer1:

Thing is Martin.... I probably didn't mention China Crisis as I wasn't a big fan of theirs and the 2 bands that were noticeable straight away were the ones I did mention. I see what you mean though, the vocals are very alike.

This album is great by the way.

Also, someone else mentioned the whole New Wave / 80's thing making a comeback....well, it hasn't really been away. There have always been bands out there that are trying to do keep it alive.

La Roux (great debut album)
Little Boots (same as)
Friends Electric (a bit more technical though and not as analog / retro)
Battles (same as)

I'd even go as far as saying that the latest Duran Duran album is a bit of a corker too.
