Admin Edit: A couple of posts have been moved from a newbie thread in to this thread for greater exposure. Unfortunately, due to chronology, it now appears as if Paul asnswered the question before it was asked!

Hi

I would think you would be wiser to get something better, it's very heavy for what it does, I think you may be thinking it will power your tops which I don't think it will, although there are some better subs that are slightly more expensive that will.

Hi, I would appreciate any advise anyone could give me.
I am looking for a powered subwoofer and have come across L2 Audio TSP115 400W RMS Powered Sub Woofer @ £299

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Has anyone heard one of these or any info about them.
I am a bit wary because of the price (you get what you pay for and all That)

Thanks for reply sapphire, I have powered tops, could just do with a bit more bass for larger functions, problem is funds are a bit streched at moment.
Tom

Just to add to above, most of my functions are now weddings 100-200 people, have a pair of DAS DR 155 active tops which I am happy with on there own for smaller functions.

Indeed it isn't. As a comparison, here's one at nearly the same price, two thirds the weight, and much louder.
