Did a sunday disco in a pub yesterday 3-7 - Pub lanlord then asked me to play on eventually until 11pm
This is a re-occuring customer - when I advised I wanted £300 quid for whole day/night
Did I under charge for Sunday ?
- small pub - just took cd - mixer - amp/speakers -stand - front cloth - 2 x 2 moonflowers and small laser and pc for karaoke.
Who thinks thats fair - It was my 1st sunday gig ever
Thanks Paul

So you ended up doing 3.00pm - 11.00pm which totals 8 hours. Personally (and I always say this), it doesn't matter what the amount of equipment was, it's your TIME that they are paying for aswell as your skills, experience etc...
£300.00 for a pub gig and on a sunday seems ok to me.
If it was an 8 hour wedding on a sunday....different story. I'd do 4 hours for that....maybe?

It depends how much YOU think your time is worth. I wouldn't of done 8 hours gigging on a Sunday for that fee or infact any other day.
A year ago I would of jumped at that fee for those hours on any given day of the week.

Is it only me that's seriously impressed by a fee of £300 on a Sunday in a pub?

No - I am as well!
Maybe you've found a landlord that values a decent DJ? Hopefully you'll have many more decent paying gigs there :)

Work it our hourly ;)
£37.50 per hour isn't half bad! Obviously you have expenses etc but I think it's a decent wage for a pub on a sunday. congrats :approve:
