I am doing a few gigs that have fairly high stages and was wondering what would be the best way to set up the speakers ? I've got a pair berry 12" actives that can be used as floor monitors, would they be any good used like that or should I stand them upright ? If I put them on my stands they will be far to high for the sound.

I was thinking of putting them at the front of the stage on the floor with the scrims so they can be seen. But not sure if my cables are long enough and the first gig is only a week away  The speakers are these http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/B212D.aspx

Put them on the stage if I were you (assuming it is above head-height), depends on the function, although some stages can steal the bass.

Put them on stand off the stage otherwise ;)

It's a birthday gig in a large clubhouse room, high ceiling and wide. Good thing is done a gig there before and can use fog - great for the starcluster and dynamos !

read my post on the my thread in the Gallery (Sat 19th no overhead) - having done the gig I would use stands next time.
