Depends where you are... if your in the middle of a field with no neighbours to complain then as late as you like (as long as its a private party and your not charging..)

If your on a housing estate then until the neighbours call the police!!!

Well just for my sisters benifit (and everyone elses who has work) I called the Police and asked them to turn it down with no luck! :omg: They said 'It is not any of our concern, you should speak to the council! I rung them up, and they are closed! Goodness me! :teeth:

To be honest, based on the time of your posts, I wouldn't have said that midnight was too late, had it been 2am I would have been a bit ****ed!

As for the police, I don't think they have any power in these things, it's usually environmental health who deal here (I think)

That is the case in Scotland, although if things are not resolved arrests will be made by the police
