Light Recommendations Please

Hi all,

Just looking for some recommended units. I want a couple of new effects on my top bar. It doesn't matter whether they are LED or Lamp. Looking for something that can be linked together and will fill the dancefloor with colour and movement.

They don't have to be brand new either as long as they are tidy looking and in perfect working order. These will replace the Mystics which will go in storage and be used for hire jobs. They may also replace 2 x Dynamos or the Sparkle LED's, not sure yet.

I should have a budget of around £600.00 in a few weeks time.

They are awsome if you link them and leave sound to music

Paying that kind of money I think it would be a good idea to see the lighting in action.

I think I would go for some kind of mini LED moving heads.

What are you advising Shakermaker to buy because these are two completely different units ???

I could make your budget stretch a little further, Looking for about £200+ del for the pair.

I have two ADJ - Triple Flex that i'm looking to replace shortly.

You will struggle to match the efx500/600 range for coverage especially 2 units. They are heavy though.

Thanks again for the links and suggestions.
Not really looking at the EFX's due to the weight. I am trying to make everything easy and also lightweight to cut down on set up times. Everything is pre-wired and these will be too when I make my mind up.

Not sure on the Tri-Phase or the Triple Flex (that's even uglier than the Mystics ;) ), but thanks for the suggestions anyway. The Twisters look interesting and I have had Twister 3's in the past. Not sure about moving heads either. I like them but not sure if they are for me.

I have a pair of the new Acme 10w LED Gobo Lights.

Only been used once due to buying two moving heads at the same time.

Fully boxed and look brand new.

They cost me £219 about 2 months ago.

I can do the pair for £170 inc Delivery.

I've had a look around and I'm undecided on either 2 x NJD Datamoons or 2 x ADJ Revo 3. If anyone has either of these that they want to get rid of, let me know. I think I'm swaying towards the Revo 3 as it is LED and lighter.

Slightly over your budget about 50 pounds over but what about the stairville scx50 from thomann its a 50 w led scanner rotating gobos and 3 fasset prism there are a couple of videos on YouTube and they look great .

I agree about the EFX comments, I dont think there too heavy (Id say manageble) but 2 EFX & 2 Par Cans Fill big dance floors easy, and only take 10 mins to set up
