what makes these better than most other brands??? the 15inch ones 700 watts each is 1200 a good price used pair???:)

Are they better than most brands? They're definitely a popular choice but that doesn't mean they're better than others. The true test is hearing a few different brands and seeing what your preference is.

That said, I use the Art series and I'm extremely happy with the sound.

Although I have RCF7 tops and 4Pro subs and I too am happy with them, I'd agree, it doesn't make them necessarily better and not even reassuringly expensive either because for the 7 series at least, being made in the Eurozone adds a fair amount onto the RRP. Once I've had them 10 years without so much as a rattle or minor fault, then I'd say they were up there with the best.

There's a pair of passive 725's on Ebay for about 1200 quid and they've been listed a few times already so maybe second hand values are falling.
