Thinking they might be very much at home in my PAR16 'Birdies' and, at the price, worth a punt ?
Cheap as chips from China ;)

Only thing i could say is if you ordered more then 1 then do they work on 1 controller lol otherwise you would be reaching for X amount of controllers lol

I've tried something similar to these at home to replace 50w halogen GU10's in conventional ceiling fixtures.

All I'll say is that you have to be very careful when you're buying from Hong Kong/China - I've had a few batches from different suppliers and the light output and the lighting angle has varied dramatically, and I've had a few in each batch which have failed within a few days (about 10% in total).

Well I've ordered a couple, just to try them out, so hopefully I will have the answers in the near future. :)

The light output is pretty equal, and quite bright, you can't stare into them for long ;) and the beam angles seem about the same (15 degree-ish). Can't comment on their longevity ... yet ! :confused:
The controller does everything it claims and is fantastic when used with a mirrorball. They also seem to have potential as mini-uplighters.

Will try to post some pics very soon. :beer1:

If they were used for uplighting etc can you choose say for example: 6 red and 6 blue ? or is it a case of one color for all ?

It seems they are IR based meaning that if you are clever enough you could easily do that. :)

In my experience with them so far, as long as they're at least 3 ft apart, one controller can be used to 'point & shoot' for individual control.
