Google Panda 2.2 has caused my Page Rank to be lowered.
Looking for some general advice on how others are coping with the changes.

Get rid of the lists and any other "low quality" content ;)

Interesting reading--so do humans make these assessments?

With the Panda update no. It is using a machine to determine what is a good and bad website, based on a usergroup assesment of a range of websites. Lee

Pretty frightening prospect when you look at the supposed way they are analysing information.

Sounds like an excuse to move people on to adwords:daft: :daft: :daft:

Not that speaking to any of their people is an easy option ( judging by the :muppet: I spoke to today)

I got hit a few weeks back for my music site, over 80% of Google traffic dropped within 24 hours of being hit. Updated and improved, yet no improvements.

Totally. I have not needed any online advertising in the last 12months... but have just had to re-activate adwords and create a facebook ad. I cannot afford to see my site drop.

Which search words are you using to check? You are still up top with most of the search terms I can think of. I haven't noticed any changed in my ranking at all.

Such a sudden drop in my PR may take some time to filter through to the search terms as they have not dipped yet... but urltrends.com is predicting my PR to fall even further very soon so urgent action is required before my site hits the floor.

Excuse me being cynical--just goes with the territory on the Internet;)
