Windows Live Messenger Problem

Oh dear I need some help :) Earlier on I was speaking to CD Discos on Windows live messenger and we went to do our usual video conversation as ususal and all of a sudden we both got logged out of msn! Then up popped Windows Defender and said there was a medium to high risk alert virus that Windows Defender luckily stopped (PHEW!) and it did a scan and succesfully removed the tiny error for me. Then I ran the microsoft malicious software tool to make sure everything was alright and it was :). Now I went to sogn back on msn and an error message has come up 80072745 came up and I'm not able to sogn into msn :sad:
Does anyone know of any remidies, I would be very grateful :teeth:
(Please no sarcastic ones :teeth: :teeth: )
(I might reply tomorrow as I have to :sleep: as I have my first day of colledge tomorrow, wish me luck :)

Every one has had this problem, its even happened to me! Just un-install it then re-download the MSN Messenger 7.5 and it will work again! :)

Yeah, please remember Live Messenger is still in Beta (ie testing). I personally hate the new MSN and I will stick with MSN 7.5 for as long as possible!

I didn't like it anyway. Way too slow and got rid of half my contacts.

Just to let you know, I installed msn 7.5 eventually and then got fed up with the emotions not showing all their colours lol, so I reinstalled Windows Live and everything is back to normal :teeth:

(Im amazed at the way it remembers all of my emotions, I have so many LoL)

It's a pity you can't synchronise Gmail as it's a far better mail system. Everybody has copied it and its so quick and easy to use. Yahoo is even worse than MSN Live though!

I forgot to say I was referring to the updated Beta Version of Yahoo. I think the original yahoo mail is not too bad but Gmail is a lot lot quicker, with nearly 3 GB of free space, virtually no adverts, keyboard shortcuts (which are excellent). An effective label system, intelligent address book and I love the way it puts everything into conversations so it takes no time at all to find an old email. Plus, the search mail facility is outstanding! :) I sound like a salesman! Though if you are looking for even more space to store your own photos, check out www.inbox.com, far better than photobucket!

Did try AOL IM, but found it really boring. Never tried Yahoo etc.
