I've never done this before and was hoping maybe someone could help. Is it possible, if so how it is done and where would I get some decent graphics from to do it. I've done a few karaokes in my time but always had a blank screen in-between singers (and the 'please select song' dog on the JVC & RSQ :p ), just wanted to improve on that.

Any help would be appreciated :) :beer1:

There's a plug in you can use Mark - have a look on the VDJ site.

For basic ones - go to effects, video effects and then titler. Having just looked, there is a karaoke plug in on my system, but the .dll file is missing for some reason...

Actually, there should already be the karaoke plug in where I mentioned before Mark if you have a .dll file missing and it's giving you an error message, go here http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35- and download the direct x downloader and that should then work.

I have just done that and it sorted the problem out.

Yeah I got the DLL missing too, legend, cheers Daz.

I've just noticed that you wanted graphics in between and not the singers name up there- DOH!

:taxi:

Anyway, you can do that too using sonique or clipbank.

Again, have a look on the VDJ site for them - downloads and video effects and they have downloads for clipbank and sonique.

That other link didn't work for some reason.

Sussed it, got the 72 graphics from VDJ download, put them (.svp files) in the video effects folder, checked 'use this plugin for audio only' option in the video part of config, activated Sonique in the video effects part of the VDJ iface.

Now the tracks I have in-between singers will have pretty graphics up on the projector screen, clear as mud. Now to delete the not so pretty svp files.

Thanks for your help Dazlar :D

I just use the Slideshow facility with the "use this plugin for audio only" option ticked. I've put a number of karaoke-related pics in a folder on my laptop and just point the Slideshow plugin at that folder. Works a treat.
