ADJ Mister Kool Fog Machine

Has anyone had any experience of the ADJ Mister Kool Fog Machine?

It looks a good price for a low level/dry ice effect and was thinking of buying one, but if it's a cheap gimmicky ADJ Classic and is going to break down after 5 minutes I shan't bother.

With these cheap 'fog coolers', doesn't the smoke rise once the chill fades from it? I can't imagine any of the venues I play in allowing it's use.

Which it does, but then after the slightest bit of wind or movement, it disappears into the air!

You can't walk through it without it all moving about etc

creates an absolutely stunning effect with the bride and groom in the middle,ok for a couple of snaps,then as said above slightest movement and it just rises.

We have a skytec machine but it eats 8 kg of ice at a time and the effect isnt amazing. The fog stays grounded for about 6 foot then rises. Never used a Mister Cool but the principle will be the same. The only way to get the true dry ice effect is with true dry ice.

Any amount of movement made it go in the air for me.

If they are going to stand still and there's no air movement, then it would look great for photos.

I dont know what the noise is like on those but on ours it sounds like a v8 Mustang driving through the room cos its so loud lol
