I am now the proud owner of the Denon mc6000, Bought from Clive CRS1, What a nice guy to deal with.

It doesn't have balance so you can't put more sound through the left or right side

Which some may say is not needed BUT i just did a 50thbday and i needed to throw the sound more to the left away from guests on the table in front due to lack of space

(Unless myself and Paul can't find the balance as we have looked everywere on it) lol

Can't you use the balance on your amp instead?

I don't own one BUT having seen one in live action im very very amazed how good and easy it is :)

Active speakers have amps too, so you could turn the volume down on the speaker itself.

The best thing to do is to have a really good play with it and write down anything you are unsure of and report back.

Mark Wild also has one and he has lots of answers for people too.

Active speakers have amps too, so you could turn the volume down on the speaker itself.

I wouldn't want to be running back and forth to adjust the volume on the speakers

I like to have control from were i am, like i say i think its brilliant kit :) and no doubt there will be a way of adjusting it :confused:

So do I. Amp controls by my right knee. Simples.

Running it into his Karaoke mixer and using pan is a solution, but not really a sensible or simple way of doing it.

ok everything was fine but now the tracks take a bit of time loading up (laptop brand new and more than capable) and also stutters a bit, any ideas??

Have you altered the latency etc as was mentioned in Pauls thread ?

on that one now Olly. The cpu is in the red which may be the problem so taking back to bare bones

Well I gigged the Denon last night and it went all to plan, Dont know how I ever worked without one. :) :)

yes, The quality is so smooth and crisp, Im loving it sitting at an anniversary playing with all the buttons

I don't like using just my mackies with it now, it seems to my ears to highlight their shortcomings however when used with the sub they sound amazing.

I have a denon MC6000 and I am very impressed with it - does everything I want it to do - In terms of stuttering - look on the VDJ support website. There is a thread on checking your latency of your laptop - you will be amazed on how devices on your laptop can affect the performance.

hmmm probably ok for os system issues but it would not find any latancy issues caused by hardware or drivers, which actually affect your system's ability to play audio files without the popping and spluttering.

I would much prefer to clean the OS system and registry using CCLeaner and it's FREE!
