depends on your target audience - but 3rd one is my prefered option, classy, sutble and upmarket :)

Sorry forgot to add that, Target Audience is all ages, people looking to hire venues, party services etc....

They all look a bit 'clipart'.

Get rid of the of the picture/colour on 3 or 4 and just have the text. That would look classier than any of the examples you've shown.

Then play around with adding a subtle highlight on some of the letters etc. and I think that would look great.

Providing it fits with the rest of your website, I actually like number #5

I think looking for a "catch-all" approach may be a bit optimistic. Targeted marketing is often the most successful and less wasteful with regards to resources. I'd probably be looking to use more than one logo and more than one marketing campaign.

Then again, some companies manage to pull it off (the Golden Arches of McDonalds or the five coloured, interlocking rings of the International Olympic Committee springs to mind).

Any way, for what it's worth, here are my opinions:

1. Don't like it at all. It all just seems like a mush of colour that's not really saying much.

2. Better. I think the coloured circles are maybe trying to represent balloons but, if so, then why not just use balloons as it will impact more visually.

3. As has been said, Logo 3 is a crisp, clear, and classy visual. Whilst not screaming "knees up" it does lend itself nicely to a more mature target audience who may be looking for something a little more chilled and relaxed or even formal.

4. It looks to me like a ferry! I've tried hard but I'm having no luck trying to link this logo to the entertainment industry. I'd forget this one.

5. My first thoughts on this weren't very impressive but I must say it's growing on me. It's not subtle. It stands out and shouts "PARTY!!!" in your face! It's a "happy" image and suggests that you can bring happiness, and happy faces, to the client's party. I can see this one being quite successful.

6. It's colourful and eye-catching but, to be honest, I don't get the shapes. My mind is not linking the shapes and overall feel of the logo to entertainment, happiness or fun. I would think this kind of logo would need to be linked to a quality reputation for it to be successful (I was going to suggest like the Mercede's 3-pointed star badge, but, I seem to recall this had something to do with land, sea and air travel so it was symbollic. Oh, well!).

These are just my opinions and, as we know, everyone has differing thoughts on everything. Whilst it's good to get feedback from others, my advice would be to pick the one that you like best. It's your business at the end of the day. If you went with a design that you did't like but your peers did, and the design wasn't successful, then you'd be gutted. The ball, as always, is in your court.
