Doing a wedding tonight and the bride sent me this list:

* Jay Z & Beyonce - Crazy in Love
* Rihanna - S&M
* Black Eyed Peas - I've gotta feeling
* Adele - Rolling in the Deep
* Britney Spears - Hold it against me
* Lady Gaga - Born this way
* Arctic Monkeys - I bet that you look good on the dance floor
* Michael Buble - Just haven't met you yet
* The Stone Roses - She bangs the drums
* Frank Sinatra - New York, New York
* 50 Cent - In Da Club
* Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire
* Led Zepplin - Whole lotta love
* Thin Lizzy - Boys are back in town
* Dean Martin - That's Amore

Basically each table has an artist and title and when they hear thier song played the whole table has to get on the dancefloor ! Excellent idea ! (well apart from Whole Lotta Love seeing as it's over 5mins long - have to fade out that one - excellent tune though !)

I like that idea.

First thoughts was if it would work at those Christmas parties where you have lots of companies sat at separate tables. Present it in the right way and it could be a brilliant ice breaker.

Just a thought for 'up for it' parties - list of songs when played the ladies have to do a lap dance, the next song it's the guy's ! :omg:

But also a good idea for other parties as well as funkymook said, could give out slips with songs on to groups of people or those sticky address labels ?

I've had a bride do the very same thing for a wedding last year. Turned out fantastic and everyone got in the spirit. Lots of "you can't dance - you can't dance" heckling from the other tables, which was all taken in good spirit.

Anyway the gig went well, bride thanked me at the end, I'll do a gig report after I've got some sleep - home at 4am then up at 7am for the 'meal tickets' I mean foreign students :omg: to give them breakfast !
