What is the max resolution of the laptop you want to buy ?

Thank you

I went from a 17 to a 15 and even after using it for nearly a year I still feel its too small. That is however my preference and certainly no reason why you can't use a 13.3 but the question is are YOU happy with that size screen?

The display native resolution is almost as important as the screen size, along with the quality of the display of course.

I replaced my ancient Macbook Pro 17" recently with a 15.4" model and went for the upgraded screen (1680x1050 as opposed to the standard 1440x920) and am very happy with the downsize.

But then I don't DJ with it :)

Im not really bothered about a big screen myself
Ive a couple of 8.4 inch ones
a 12.1 one and some 13.1 inch ones all of which suit my needs.

I love the TOUGHBOOKs as they stand up to life on the road well
And i dont think they look bad to the customers either .

if you are trying to get an idea what the screen real estate looks like on a 13" screen here you go. This is 1280x800

I am running Traktor Pro 2. 3 Decks + Sample Decks and still plenty of room for browsing.

I manage/cope/get by with a 13.3" Macbook but I would prefer a 15" or 17". More screen = more to tracks to see - and that's better for me.

Same with Itch. Used to use a 12 inch G4

Never would want a larger screen TBH. Great size 13 inch.
Also smaller for transport.

Actually it was a joke as you don't seem to care about presentation and yet you are making comments like that?

13" macbook pro for me. Use it with serato SL with mixemergency for the video and Its fine. I dont need to stare at the screen much just to select my tracks so its perfect. Fits in any DJ booth too
